Requirements (unless you convince us otherwise)

1. Proven experience in audio editing, preferably within podcast editing
2. Proficiency in audio editing software, such as Adobe Audition, Audacity, Logic Pro etc
3. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
4. The desire to push the boundaries of podcasting and sound design

Duties:

• Edit and clean up podcast audio files, ensuring optimal audio quality
• Apply audio enhancements, such as equalization, compression, and noise reduction
• Add intro/outro music, sound effects, and other audio elements as needed
• Collaborate with podcast producers and hosts to ensure content meets their vision
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines
• Communicate with team members and provide updates on project progress
• Assist in the organization and management of podcast files
• Conduct quality control checks on final audio products
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in podcast editing
• Contribute ideas and suggestions to improve podcast content and production
• Continuously enhance your skills and knowledge in podcast editing and production
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the growth of the company
