Job Description
Do you have a passion for sports and expertise in audio production? Audacy Cleveland is searching for a full-time, dedicated, and creative audio executive producer to join the team at WKRK 92.3 The Fan!

We seek a dynamic individual who is organized, innovative, and has a sharp ear for quality content. You should excel in talent management, collaborate effectively on show production, and clearly present your ideas. A strong understanding of social media and its role in building brand loyalty is essential. If you’re an avid podcast listener with a pulse on the latest sports news, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Do:
- Manage the quality and execution of a show on 92.3 The Fan by overseeing editing,
- show flow, and direction in close collaboration with on-air talent.
- Pitch and develop compelling host, guest, segment, and story ideas.
- Collaborate with hosts to structure interview questions and create episode outlines.
- Select and share the best audio clips with our video, social, and editorial teams.
- Make editorial decisions on length, outlines, and scripting.
- Develop strategies to engage the audience and enhance podcast visibility across
- Manage recording schedules and coordinate sessions with hosts.
- Ensure the smooth and effective running of podcast ads.
- Work with the Production and Operations Managers to meet audience and revenue
- Be prepared to take on multiple projects and additional duties as needed.
Qualifications
Required & Preferred:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred but not required.
- 3+ years of production experience in sports media.
- Proficiency in Adobe Audition or similar audio editing software.
- Familiarity with podcast publishing platforms such as Amperwave or Omny.
- Solid understanding of the podcasting and sports radio landscape.
- Experience in talent, editorial, and production management.
- Skilled in Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, or similar applications.
- Excellent organizational, detail-oriented, and time-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently while leading collaborative efforts.
- Capacity to multitask effectively.
