Job Description
We are looking for a podcast producer to help provide awesome audio production, management and marketing services to our partners.
As a podcast producer, you will be responsible for assisting in every aspect of producing internal podcast brands and client podcast brands.
You’ll Help To:
- Work with interested parties to bring them onboard as clients.
- Create new ideas for podcast shows.
- Facilitate the launching of new shows.
- Work with internal/external partners to book guests for the show.
- Manage the podcast booking process from outreach to follow-up.
- Draft show notes for episodes.
- Create marketing assets for the show ie… audiograms, ,transcripts, social posts … etc.
- Edit RAW audio and deliver the finished product to the client.
- Manage the administrative aspects of the podcast.
- Help to manage the podcast studio.
- Work with internal/external marketing teams to ideate, create and deliver marketing assets.
- Play a key role in the development and execution of the podcast marketing plan.

What You’ll Have:
- High level of organization.
- An eye for detail and self-direction.
- A positive attitude and a “can do” spirit.
- Understanding of digital marketing elements ie. Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter.
- Demonstrable experience and expertise in audio production including but not limited to; Audacity, REAPER, Adobe Audition or other digital audio workstations. Podcast Town standardizes around REAPER so you will need to be willing to learn REAPER.
- Understanding of Canva or the ability/willingness to learn the platform.
- Understanding of Headliner or ability/willingness to learn the platform.
- Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be considered
