Wise Guys Barbecue is a podcast dedicated to exploring and sharing barbecue tips and insights. Join our cohosts weekly for episodes filled with valuable information and entertaining anecdotes from our talented hosts.

We are looking for a talented and innovative PT Podcast Production Assistantto join our expanding Wise Guys BBQ Podcast and RIBBQ Virtual Newsletter marketing team. Our brands are gaining recognition nationwide and need a dedicated person to bring the podcast and virtual newsletter to the next level.

The ideal candidate will leverage AI tools to edit podcasts and newsletter contributions, incorporate engaging graphics and title cards and pictures. Create compelling intros/outros for video submissions. You will be responsible for packaging each episode to maximize SEO ad clicks, producing full episodes as well as shorts and clips.

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Podcastle, YouTube, X (formerly Twitter) and Facebook for Business, is essential. Additionally, strong skills in title and thumbnail creation are required.

Know about email management services. Know how to produce and transcribe audio files. Able to write good summaries, topic relevant, to engage more people

Key Responsibilities:

• Podcast Editing Using AI:
  • Utilize AI and tools like Podcastle and Adobe Premiere Pro to efficiently edit podcast episodes.
  • Edit and produce full-length episodes, shorts, and engaging clips.
• Visual Enhancements:
  • Incorporate graphics, animations, and title cards into podcast videos.
  • Create engaging intros that captivate the audience from the start.
• SEO and Product Optimization:
  • Package each project with SEO best practices to increase visibility and engagement.
  • Optimize content for maximum clicks across multiple platforms.
• Content Distribution:
  • Manage and upload content to platforms including YouTube, Facebook and X .
  • Ensure all content meets platform specifications and guidelines.
• Title and Thumbnail Creation:
  • Develop compelling titles and eye-catching thumbnails to attract and retain viewers.
  • Collaborate with the Wise Guys Podcast and RIBBQ News marketing team to emphasize branding and messaging.
• Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with hosts, content producers, and other team members to ensure a smooth production process.
  • Provide creative input to enhance overall content quality.

Qualifications:

• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Podcastle.
  • Experience with AI-driven editing tools.
  • Familiarity with YouTube, Facebook and X platform requirements and best practices.
• Creative Skills:
  • Strong ability to create engaging intros and outros.
  • Expertise in graphic design and visual storytelling.
  • Excellent skills in title and thumbnail creation.
• SEO Knowledge:
  • Understanding of SEO principles related to video and podcast content.
  • Ability to optimize metadata, descriptions, and tags for better search rankings.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in podcast editing or a similar role.
• Knowledge of current trends in podcasting and digital media.
• Experience with other editing and graphic design tools.
