Job Description
Do you love storytelling, audio production, and inspiring young voices? Join Camp Winnebago as our Podcasting Instructor, where you’ll guide a small group of campers (2-4 per session) in conceiving, recording, and editing their very own podcast episodes!
What You’ll Do:
🎙️ Teach the Art of Podcasting – Help campers develop their own podcast concepts, craft compelling stories, and find their unique voices behind the mic.
🎛️ Hands-On Audio Production – Teach recording techniques, sound editing, and mixing using industry-standard tools to bring their ideas to life.
🗣️ Encourage Confident Storytelling – Foster skills in interviewing, narration, and improvisation, creating an engaging and supportive environment.
🎧 Create & Publish Content – Guide campers as they produce polished podcast episodes, leaving camp with a real, shareable project!
🏕️ Make Summer Unforgettable – Enjoy the outdoors, camp traditions, and a creative, dynamic community, all while teaching an exciting digital skill.
What We’re Looking For:
✔️ Experience in podcasting/audio production (recording, editing, storytelling)
✔️ Passion for teaching and mentoring young creators
✔️ Knowledge of editing software (Audacity, GarageBand, Adobe Audition, etc.)
✔️ Enthusiastic, engaging, and adaptable personality
✔️ Camp, teaching, or leadership experience is a plus!
