With studios in Salford (Media City, Manchester) and Farringdon, London, we produce chart-topping podcasts including Help I Sexted My Boss, The Girls Bathroom, Joe and James Fact Up and Get A Grip, alongside programmes for BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 6 Music and the BBC Asian Network, and audiobooks for publishers including Penguin Books.
Our audio and visual podcast studios are optimised to meet the needs of production companies and creators, specialising in podcast recordings, audiobook projects, voiceover sessions, broadcast PR and tape sync.
Job Description
Audio Always is a creative production company connecting through sound, specialising in engaging content that resonates across radio, podcasts and audiobooks. With studios in Salford and London, we produce chart-topping podcasts including Help I Sexted My Boss, Joe and James Fact Up, Get A Grip and The Girls Bathroom.
As Video Editor, you’ll lead the technical and creative delivery of long and short-form video for our podcast output — content that reaches millions of viewers every week. You’ll work closely with the Content Director, Executive Content Producers and Content Producers, to bring plans to life in the edit, and play a real part in shaping how our shows look and feel on screen.
You’ll be based in either Manchester or London, with flexibility to work across both where the work requires it.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading the technical and creative edit of long and short-form video and audio across platforms
- Working closely with ork closely with Content Producers, Executive Content Producers and Content Directors to bring content plans to life.
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the team, understanding their strategies and priorities.
- Managing systems and processes so content is organised, delivered on time and to spec.
- Contributing to creative sessions and bringing new ideas and formats to the table.
- Upholding the highest technical standards in every deliverable.
- Ensuring all content meets Editorial Guidelines and regulatory standards.
What We're Looking For
- At least two years' experience working in a video production environment.
- In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Premiere Pro, and a willingness to learn new tools.
- A passion for video and a curiosity about how video is working alongside audio in the podcast and radio market.
- A strong understanding of how audiences consume content across multiple platforms.
- Someone who takes ownership of their work and sees projects through independently.
- Highly organised, calm under pressure, and able to adapt when priorities shift.
- A clear communicator who builds good working relationships with talent, colleagues and clients.
- A creative thinker who's always looking for the next great idea.
